Adelais Parera has over 15 years’ experience in the fields of architecture and design, working on local and international projects between Barcelona and London.

Her creativity, versatility and international experience have led her to work successfully on a variety of situations and projects across different sectors and scales, from urban planning to product design.

She trained in Barcelona at La Salle School of Architecture (ETSALS - Ramon Llull University), and completed a master’s degree at the Bartlett School of Architecture (UCL) in London. She also trained in music for many years.

She worked at David Chipperfield Architects and Grimshaw Architects in London on several international award-winning cultural, infrastructure, interior design, and exhibition projects.

She worked on urban planning, public spaces, cultural, retail and housing projects in Barcelona, for clients including Apple, the City Council, BIMSA (Barcelona Infrastructures), ICUB (Barcelona's Culture Institute) and private clients.

She has taught in BAU - College of Arts & Design and EINA University School of Design and Art, both in Barcelona.

She has received several awards including the First Prize in the Europan competition -Sustainable City and New Public Spaces for a site in Spain, the Royal Parks competition in the UK, and the Design Educates award.

I am in a constant process of learning, whilst rediscovering the importance of stimulating our senses, playing, the notion of aesthetics and an approach to design focused in the human experience.
